It really is so exciting that the film Prom Night in Mississippi is playing in the theaters in Toronto. It’s playing there, just like other big-screen movies, this little self-funded, small project documentary about the first inter-racial prom in a small town, that has changed the lives of many people. This is an important film, shot at an important time in history.
It is also important that people see this movie, as ticket sales indicate its future.
If you are looking for a great evening out, certain to spark discussion, please head out to the Carelton Theatre this weekend. If enough of you see it in the next week, it will be shown at Canada Square Theatre next.
To answer some of your questions, the stills that you see in the movie, are indeed the photos that I took. Come out and support!
