Give a free photo session, for the love.

I love photographing weddings and important family events because it’s a chance to share peoples’ love and joy back with them.  It’s a beautiful experience — for everyone involved.  This is all fine and good on the wedding day, or the period of engagement, but what about after?  One, five, ten, years later?  If anyone needs a pick-up, an opportunity to re-connect and fall in love again, it’s often those who are already married.

So, for this year’s “Giving is Awesome“, I am donating a photo session for a married couple who you think could use a little photo love-in.  You know who I am talking about — that couple who is terribly in love and never has enough cash to get a photography session just for them, or that couple who has been going through a really hard time and could use a little session to connect.  Or that couple who… you get the idea.

If a name is coming to mind right now, that’s the one to nominate!  Nominate that couple who deserves a year-round reminder of their love, beauty and fabulous relationship.   They will have a natural, “engagement-shoot-like” photo session, which will be fun in the experience, bring them closer, and leave them with fabulous photos that will reflect their current relationship for touchstones in their day-to-day lives. It’s not based in a huge life event like a wedding.  It’s based on nothing, which is the most important thing of all.  Just for them to remember that ‘nothing’ is everything.

I want to know who these people are for you, and give them a chance to experience this photo session with me, which would normally be $700.

By doing so, the nominator (that’s you!) will receive a $150 print credit.  So, everybody wins!

Here are the rules:

*You cannot nominate yourself, and the couple you nominate must live in Toronto. You can only nominate once.

*Tell me who you know, what they are experiencing, and why they deserve my services. Please include a way to contact both your nominee and yourself as well.

*You must e-mail me the full story to Catherine[@]

Deadlines for nominations is Christmas Eve.  The winner will be announced on Christmas Day.

It takes no time or money on your part — it just feels good!  So, send in your entry now, and feel warm and fuzzy about being generous with your thoughtfulness and love.  I can’t wait to read your entries!

Ho ho ho.
