What a treat to photograph these three. The bride, the groom, the dress. Yes, the dress. So loved and adored by all, she even had a name. Josephine.
Wendy’s whole look was a collaborative purple affair! The beautiful flowers were created by Cool Green + Shady, her jewelry by Virginia Geiger, purchased on Etsy.com. The piece de resistance, in my humble opinion, was Wendy’s headpiece with a vintage rose that was hand-designed by Invite Me! using an air-dry clay. It was assembled with the feathers on the spot by the hairdresser with Faces By Carla.
Wendy and I had a bunch of little chats leading up to the wedding, one in which I discovered that she was most looking forward to “The Reveal” photographs — the moment when she and Noel see each other for the first time. This is that moment, here:
There were also some unanticipated moments, such as when Cookie Monster joined the photo shoot. You have to love surprises!!
And what is this photo below doing here? Well, in our chats, Wendy told me she was curious about who I would find most interesting to photograph at the wedding. Which characters, would I be drawn to?
Well, here he is. My favourite person of the night (other than you two, of course!), the Scottish nephew.
Thank you, Wendy + Noel (+ Josephine). You made this day so easy and so much fun, purely because of how much fun you were having. Congrats to you both.
