It feels like there are a million ways that my life has similarities to Stephanie Gareri’s life. We went to the same high school, and graduated in different years. We each dated a brother from the same family, at separate time periods. We both work in the wedding industry — she as a planner (DoThisDoThat.ca), I as a photographer, but hadn’t worked together.
It’s almost like we had these things in common, but never quite an overlap. Until recently, that is, when I had the pleasure of photographing her marriage to the ever-so charming Scott. It all fell together perfectly, with a warm(ish) Fall day, a beautiful ceremony in the Bishop Strachan School chapel, and a celebration of all celebrations in the Tiff Bell Lightbox‘s restaurant, ‘Malaparte‘.
Thank you thank you thank you, for bringing us all together. It was perfect, and I can’t wait to show you the rest of the photos!!
ps — The photos above of Stephanie’s bracelet are taken on top of a stunning photography book she published with her Dad of their voyage in Italy. How cool is that to do as a Father-Daughter venture? Her father also took the photos of her mother’s hands in the shot with the shoes. Love.
