Blame it on the rain

When I met with Cassey and Shalini for their consultation, they said that they wanted the portrait portion of their wedding day to be memorable.   They wanted it to be different, and a part of the day to be remembered specifically, not just as a part of the day, but a unique and creative part.

Well, careful what you wish for!

The portrait portion of their fabulous wedding at the Old Mill in May was so memorable, I will never forget it!
It started as a light rain, and we got lots of great pictures of people with their umbrellas.

But when we went to take the pictures of the bridal party, I kid you not, a hurricane came through. Umbrellas were blowing inside out, and the sky was as dark as midnight.  It was absolutely crazy!

However, everyone had a great sense of humour about it, and as is often the case, the weather lead us to not only the memorable portrait taking time, but the creativity and unique portraits that they were asking for!

After that, it was one memorable thing after another.  There were drummers, Chinese Dragon dancers, a hilarious photo booth that we set up, and loads of people shaking it down on the dance floor!

So really, what I am saying is, thank YOU Cassey and Shalini for giving ME such a memorable time!
